Introduction
Several universities including central, state, soke private and deemed universities are participating in this exam.
Exam is conducted by National Testing Agency ( NTA ).
This whole process simplified the admission process. Now one have to apply for this exam by choosing alternative colleges and courses. And after declaration of results of CUET exam, varsities starts their admission process on the basis of merit obtained by aspirants in this entrance exam.
This system smoothened the whole process of admission. Now student doens't need to apply for several entrance exams pf different universities.
What's the problem?
The major problem is fee structure of whole process.
For example, this year for 2024, NTA recently released forms for PG courses. The fees for applying is ₹1200 for open category for 1 form. And for choosing additional courses, ₹600 extra for each course.
After exam, one need to apply for admission at each university admission portal, where they are desirous of taking admission. Each university charges 500-1000 for this process.
Means if you are desirous of applying in two courses at two universities, you will end up spending approx 3000.
Another major issue is promotion of tuition classes.
Earlier, many universities took admission on the basis of class 12th marks for UG courses and graduation marks for PG courses. But now, students need to prepare for entrance exam. They need to buy notes, guides, past year questions and majorly coaching classes.
Some students took free classes from YouTube and ends up with half knowledge and no guidance.
To overcome all these problems faced by students, we are providing free guidance and career counseling for all courses after 12th and graduation. Simply visit Contact Us page of our website, or WhatsApp here.
What's wrong this year?
Several popular Central universities like BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY ( BHU ) and JAWAHARLAL NEHRU UNIVERSITY ( JNU ) are not participating in CUET PG for 2024. Students will face difficulties in applying for them separately.
If Central universities doesn't hear Central government then who cares? If Ministry of Education really cares for smoothness in whole entrance system, then atleast all Central Universities must follow this procedure to bring clarity and uniformity in educational institutions entrance system.
Let's see, whether BHU and JNU joins the CUET exam or take their own.
